Preschool Spanish Lesson for Ages 3-7
Benefits of Teaching Preschool Spanish too Large to Measure!Spanish has by far become the second most used language in the United States. The fact that preschoolers learn so quickly is one of the benefits to teaching Preschool Spanish during this early age. Your child will be able to build upon this foundation of early learning throughout their later schooling years. Additional benefits will be seen as your child begins to feel comfortable interacting with children of different nationalities where they may not have before. "One day in June, we were waiting our turn in line at the local Post Office. A Hispanic woman was waiting in line behind us. She simply said "Hola!" to my children [then ages 3 and 18 months]. She was surprised to hear them both announce "Hola!" back to her. My oldest then said to me "Mommy, she's speaking Spanish to me! She knows Spanish!" and she proceeded to say every word, phrase and greeting she had learned in a Cait's Preschool Spanish Lesson. The look upon this dear woman's face- at the thought that my children could speak her language was priceless. Before our time in line was over, she had thanked me for taking the time to teach my children her native tongue so that they could better communicate with those around them. I'll never forget the smile upon her face that day, and upon the faces of my children as they were able to communicate for the first time with someone who was unable to speak English...and who otherwise would not have been able to communicate to them." Cait's Curriculum has such a basic, easy approach to teaching Spanish to the Preschool Age. This beginners workbook is a nice addition to Cait's Preschool Curriculum.
